The Black Queens have named a 26-player squad for the Pink Ladies Cup in the United Arab Emirates, blending experienced internationals with promising local talents.

Coach Kim Lars Björkegren has included three home-based players, showcasing the rising role of local stars in the national team.

Samartex Ladies goalkeeper Cynthia Konlan, who was a standout at the last WAFCON, retains her spot in the squad.

Forward Ajegipina Zakaria of Ampem Darkoa Ladies has earned her first senior team call-up after scoring 12 goals in the Women’s Premier League this season.

Diana Amoako, also from Ampem Darkoa Ladies and a key figure in Ghana U20’s 3-2 aggregate win over South Africa in World Cup qualifiers, makes her debut for the senior side.

The Tournament will see Ghana face Russia, Hong Kong, and Tanzania, giving the squad international experience ahead of the WAFCON tournament.

Veteran players like Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah, Jennifer Cudjoe, Portia Boakye, and Grace Asantewaa are expected to guide the newcomers.

The competition will allow the technical team to evaluate player readiness, build team cohesion, and fine-tune tactical strategies.

The Black Queens hope to maintain their position among Africa’s top women’s football teams through this preparation.

Head Coach of the Black Queens Kim Lars Bjorkegren has announced his squad ahead of the upcoming International Friendlies in the Pink Ladies Cup Competition.

The squad consists of six exciting newcomers receiving their first-ever call-ups to the national team.

The debutantes are Rose Baah, Diana Amoako, Alexandra Emefa Tay, Sharon Sampson, Helen Alormenu, and Ajegipina Zakaria.

This tournament in the United Arab Emirates is a crucial preparatory stage for Ghana’s Women Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) campaign in Morocco.

The Black Queens will face tough competition from Russia, Tanzania, and Hong Kong in the Pink Ladies Cup, scheduled from February 28 to March 6.

Aduana FC head coach Cioaba Aristica has announced his starting lineup ahead of their game against Medeama SC in the Ghana Premier League.

Medeama SC will be hosting Aduana FC in week 22 of the Ghana Premier League at the Tarkwa T &A Stadium on Friday as kickoff scheduled at exactly 16:30GMT.

Asante Kotoko SC interim coach Prince Yaw Owusu has jumped in defending his players and eyeing for a bounce back against Hearts of Oak on Sunday.

Coach Prince speaking to Kessben FM has also emphasized that his focus is improving the team’s goalscoring ability ahead of the Super clash on Sunday.

“I don’t think we should put all blame on the boys. They did exactly what they were asked to do, and because of that,we have to figure out what went wrong.We need to talk to them and get them back for the game against Hearts of Oak,” he said.

“Two games with no goal in the net is a concern, so we’re going to work hard on it.” He added
