Apostle Kwadwo Safo Entrusted Me to Oversee Kristo Asafo Mission for Four Years:Osebo
Ghanaian fashion icon Richard Brown, popularly known as Osebo, has revealed that the late Dr Apostle Kwadwo Safo entrusted him with overseeing the activities of the Kristo Asafo Mission for four years, describing it as one of the greatest responsibilities he has ever received.
Speaking in an interview on Hitz FM, Osebo disclosed that between 2017 and 2020, the founder of Kristo Asafo Mission entrusted him with coordinating the church’s activities across several locations in Ghana and abroad.
According to him, he represented the mission in Greater Accra, Takoradi, Italy, the United Kingdom, and Germany, delivering important messages on behalf of the church whenever the need arose.
“In 2017, the man gave the church to me for four good years. I was the one running the church from Accra, Takoradi, Italy, the UK and Germany. If there was any message, I would be the one to go and deliver it,” he said.
Osebo clarified that although he played a key role in the mission’s activities, he never held an official administrative position. Instead, he described himself as an ambassador who represented the church and communicated its messages.
He explained that while another representative handled the Ashanti Region, he was responsible for Greater Accra and other assigned locations.
“I was like an ambassador. If there was any message, one guy from Kumasi and I were the ones who delivered it. He took the Ashanti Region, and I took Greater Accra,” Osebo stated.
Responding to questions about whether he serves as an elder or holds any formal office within the church, the celebrity stylist said he has never desired a leadership position.
“No, I don’t want any position in the church,” he stressed.
Osebo also revealed that his relationship with Kristo Asafo Mission dates back decades, noting that he has been a dedicated member since 1986 and has remained committed to the church ever since.
He further disclosed that he began preaching at the age of 11, emphasizing that his service to the church has always been driven by passion rather than the pursuit of titles.
“I preach. I started preaching at the age of 11,” he added.
The fashion personality maintained that his loyalty to Kristo Asafo Mission has remained unwavering and that he has no intention of leaving the church.
