Dr Power Predicts Trouble for Chairman Wontumi’s NPP Chairmanship Bid

Dr Power has made a bold prophecy concerning the political future of New Patriotic Party (NPP) Ashanti Regional Chairman, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, claiming he has spiritually seen challenges ahead of the party’s next internal elections.

Speaking on Kessben FM’s Awurade Akasa programme hosted by Rev. Richard Afful, Dr Power said he saw Chairman Wontumi waving an NPP flag in a vision, but the flag had a conspicuous question mark on it, which he interpreted as uncertainty over Wontumi’s bid to retain his position as the party’s Ashanti Regional Chairman.

According to Dr Power, the vision indicates that Chairman Wontumi’s path to re-election is under threat unless he seeks spiritual intervention.

“I saw Chairman Wontumi waving a flag, but there was a question mark on the flag. Wherever Chairman Wontumi is, he should look for me. If he comes to see me, he will be free,” he stated.

Dr Power further suggested that there are spiritual factors affecting Wontumi’s political future, adding that reconciliation is necessary if he wants to overcome the challenge.

“I always say that in Ghana, people claim no one is without sin. But I also say that if the earth rejects you, you must make peace with the earth for it to accept you again,” Dr Power said.

Although he did not elaborate on what he meant by the “earth rejecting” Chairman Wontumi, he insisted that addressing the spiritual issue is crucial for the NPP stalwart’s chances in the upcoming chairmanship race.
