Foreign Affairs Ministry Wins Best Ministry at 2026 Civil Service Games
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been adjudged the Best Ministry at the 2026 Civil Service Games, winning the top honour for the second consecutive year.
Foreign Affairs Minister Sam Okudzeto Ablakwa announced the achievement in a post on X, congratulating colleagues at the Ministry for their outstanding performance.
He described the recognition as a great honour and celebrated all award winners, while also announcing the presentation of special prizes from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to deserving recipients.
Ablakwa, in a lighter remark, said the Ministry may soon need a bigger trophy cabinet following its back-to-back success at the Civil Service Games.
He also announced that national service personnel who won awards at the games are guaranteed employment at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to the Minister, the achievement demonstrates that Ghana’s diplomats are not only dedicated to their professional responsibilities but are also multitalented and exceptionally healthy.
