Gospel musician Noble Nketsiah has opened up about a difficult period in his music career, revealing that he was once approached by people who wanted to introduce him to an occult group, but he rejected the offer because of his faith in God.

Speaking on No1 FM’s Journey to Heaven show, Noble Nketsiah said he faced severe challenges between 2009 and 2010, a period during which he temporarily stepped away from the public eye.

According to him, he is not someone who often shares his personal struggles because he believes that only God can truly solve his problems, even though He may use people as instruments.

“I am someone who doesn’t put my things out there. I know people cannot solve my problems, but God can solve them through human beings. Sometimes when you tell your story out there, people talk about it in different ways, but nothing changes,” he said.

The gospel artiste disclosed that during his challenging period, some individuals approached him and tried to recruit him into an occult group. After he declined, he claimed they attempted to make life difficult for him.

“They wanted me to join an occult group, but I declined. Because I refused, they decided to punish me. They told me I would struggle, and the intention was to make me suffer until I gave up and came back to join them,” he revealed.

Noble Nketsiah said he remained committed to his Christian faith despite the pressure and difficulties, remembering how God had transformed his life from humble beginnings.

“I told them that the God who picked me when I was nothing, when nobody knew me, and made me a blessing to others is the same God I believe in. Even if it takes years or I never get back to the top again, He is still the God I know,” he stated.

He added that some people advised him to abandon gospel music and switch to secular music because of his struggles, but he chose to remain faithful to his calling.

The musician said although he did not always get everything he desired during those difficult moments, God provided for him and ensured he never went hungry.

“People told me to stop gospel music and do secular music, but when I kept my faith in God, He lifted me. Even during those times, God never allowed me to stay hungry. I didn’t get everything I wanted, but God has rewarded me,” he added.
