I Took Taxis After Donating My Only Two Cars to Kantanka – Osebo
Fashion entrepreneur and style icon Osebo the Zaraman has revealed that he once gave away the only two cars he owned to the late Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka, despite having to rely on taxis for his daily transportation afterward.
Speaking in an interview on Hitz FM, Osebo described the gesture as a heartfelt act of appreciation, saying generosity has always been part of his character.
“Giving is who I am. I owed him that honour,” he said.
Osebo recounted that after returning to Ghana from Germany, he owned a BMW 316, which he affectionately called Affordable. Rather than keeping it for himself, he presented it to Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka to support the work of his organization.
According to him, the vehicle was intended for the apostle’s security personnel to use during patrol duties, not for the cleric’s personal use.
“I drove it to Kantanka and handed it over for his security team. At the time, I hadn’t even bought a car for my parents, and I was using taxis to commute between home and work,” Osebo recalled.
Three years later, the fashion icon said he purchased another vehicle—a BMW 320i—and also gifted it to the renowned industrialist and founder of the Kantanka Group.
The second donation reportedly left Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka astonished.
“He asked me, ‘You already brought one car, and now you’ve brought another. What are you going to use?'” Osebo recounted.
In response, Osebo told him that every success he had achieved was the result of Kantanka’s prayers, guidance, and unwavering support.
Moved by the gesture, Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka reportedly blessed him with a prophetic declaration, saying,
“Because of this, the day will come when you won’t even have enough space to park all your cars.”
