Igho ‘Tiny’ Ubiribo Dies at 43 — Cosmetic Procedure in Thailand Linked to Fatal Pulmonary Embolism

British-Nigerian businessman and lifestyle influencer Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo, also known online as Ego and Denisi, has died at the age of 43 after complications from a cosmetic penile enlargement procedure in Bangkok, Thailand.

The circumstances surrounding his death emerged following an inquest at the Inner West London Coroners’ Court, where a coroner concluded that the cosmetic procedure caused a fatal pulmonary embolism.

PROCEDURE IN BANGKOK ENDS IN TRAGEDY

Ubiribo was in Bangkok with his wife, fashion designer and socialite Danielle Simba Allen, when he underwent the procedure at an unnamed clinic in March 2026.

Evidence presented at the inquest indicated that approximately 40 millilitres of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine were injected into his penis as part of the cosmetic enlargement treatment.

The clinic where the procedure was performed has not been publicly identified.

HE COMPLAINED OF CHEST PAIN AND COLLAPSED

After the procedure, Ubiribo and his wife reportedly went for a massage.

During the session, he complained of chest pain and lost consciousness twice. He was subsequently rushed by ambulance to Sukhumvit Hospital, where he was initially conscious and able to respond to medical staff.

His wife informed doctors about the filler injections, but Ubiribo lost consciousness before a recommended CT scan could be completed.

Doctors diagnosed him with a pulmonary embolism, a potentially fatal blockage of blood flow in the lungs.

OVER 100 MINUTES OF CPR COULD NOT SAVE HIM

Ubiribo was transferred to intensive care, where medical personnel attempted to revive him through cardiopulmonary resuscitation for more than 100 minutes.

He died in the early hours of March 6, 2026, aged 43.

A subsequent post-mortem examination in the United Kingdom reportedly found cellular material in his lungs matching the hyaluronic acid used during the procedure.

Coroner Jean Harkin subsequently ruled that the cosmetic treatment had caused the fatal pulmonary embolism.

A LAVISH LIFESTYLE IN THE SPOTLIGHT

Ubiribo was known online for documenting an extravagant lifestyle and had amassed about 185,000 Instagram followers.

He was also associated with Nigerian music star Davido and moved within high-profile social circles. Reports say he owned luxury properties in London and Los Angeles and married Danielle Simba Allen in a lavish ceremony in Zimbabwe in 2022.

His funeral in London also attracted attention, with reports that he was buried in an elaborate gold coffin.

The revelation of Ubiribo’s cause of death has brought renewed attention to the potential dangers associated with cosmetic filler procedures.

What began as a cosmetic treatment during a luxury trip to Bangkok ultimately became a fatal medical emergency, leaving behind a grieving wife, family, friends and a large online following.
