‘I’ve Never Dated AMG Armani’ – Akuapem Poloo Sets the Record Straight

Actress and social media personality Rosemond Brown, popularly known as Akuapem Poloo, has firmly denied claims that she was ever in a romantic relationship with musician AMG Armani, who is also the father of influencer Asantewaa’s child.

Speaking in a TikTok video shared on July 16, 2026, Akuapem Poloo addressed the rumours after her name became linked to the reported relationship issues between Asantewaa and AMG Armani.

According to the actress, although she has decided to stop responding to every rumour circulating about her, she felt compelled to address this particular allegation because it is completely false.

“I am growing, and I’ve decided to stop reacting to any news I hear about myself. But I think this one, I need to clear the air. I learnt Asantewaa and AMG Armani are having some issues, and people are tagging me in it. Some are saying I am happy because they have broken up and that I used to date AMG Armani. You people should get close to Armani and ask him if he has ever proposed to me,” she said.

Poloo stressed that she has never been in a romantic relationship with the musician and challenged anyone with contrary information to verify it directly from AMG Armani.

She revealed that the first and only time she met Armani was at AMG Deuces’ wedding in 2021, where she had been invited by the groom.

“The first time I met Armani was at AMG Deuces’ wedding. He invited me to his wedding, and that was my first time seeing AMG Armani. So where did the story that I dated him come from?” she questioned.

The actress further explained that she intentionally keeps her private relationships away from social media, warning people against assuming that every post she shares reflects her real-life experiences.

According to her, many of the videos and posts on her social media pages are created solely to participate in online trends or to promote music and should not be interpreted as proof of a romantic relationship.

“I told you guys that I have never posted my relationship on social media. If you see anything, it’s for trends. Maybe I want to hype something or someone’s song. I don’t post my private life on social media,” she noted.

Akuapem Poloo also disclosed that Asantewaa herself knows there has never been anything romantic between her and AMG Armani.

While admitting that there would have been nothing wrong if they had chosen to date, she maintained that such a relationship never existed. She added that Armani had never proposed to her, expressed romantic interest in her, or taken her out on a date.

“Even Asantewaa herself knows that I have never dated Armani. Armani has never proposed to me. We have never gone out. It’s not that he isn’t a guy I could go out with, but we have never tried it,” she added.
