Ghanaian media mogul and creative arts advocate Kojo Preko Dankwa has officially resigned from his role as the acting Communication Director of the Creative Arts Federation of Ghana.

The announcement, made on August 6, comes on the heels of his new professional responsibilities, particularly his role as the host of Kessben Maakye, the flagship morning show on Kessben 92.9 FM, and ongoing commitments with the Foundation of Concerned Arts Professionals (FOCAP), where he serves as President.

In a statement, Kojo Preko explained:

“This has become necessary due to my new role as the host of Kessben Maakye and other professional tasks, including the new developments regarding FOCAP. I wish the Federation well in all its endeavours.”

A Respected Voice in the Creative Space.

While stepping away from his position at the Creative Arts Federation of Ghana, he has made it clear that this is not a retreat from the industry. Rather, it’s a strategic shift that will allow him to focus on other avenues where he continues to support the growth and protection of Ghana’s creative ecosystem.
