Tourism Minister Has Opened Doors to Support Ghana’s Creative Industry — Richardson Commey Fio

The Special Assistant to the Minister for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Richardson Commey Fio, has praised the Minister’s commitment and passion for supporting players within Ghana’s creative sector.

According to him, the Minister has demonstrated genuine interest in the growth and development of creatives across various fields, including painters, fashion designers, authors, publishers, musicians, actors, animators, designers, theatre practitioners, art and craft dealers, and filmmakers.

When asked by a source at Kpdonline,net, whether the Minister has a strong passion for supporting creatives, Richardson Commey Fio said she has consistently made herself available to engage with practitioners and provide support where possible.

“Indeed she has. From painters, fashion designers, authors, publishers, musicians, actors, to animators, designers, theatre practitioners, art and craft dealers, filmmakers, etc., the Hon. Minister has opened her doors to support them the best possible way she could,” he stated.

He emphasized that the Minister’s approach reflects her dedication to creating opportunities and improving the fortunes of individuals and groups contributing to Ghana’s tourism, arts, and culture ecosystem.

Richardson Commey Fio added that the Ministry remains committed to working with stakeholders in the creative industry to promote growth, innovation, and sustainability.
