Kumasi-based media personality Ama Parone (Jennifer) has publicly addressed the controversy surrounding viral videos linked to her name, offering an apology over one circulating clip while firmly denying involvement in a second video.

In a statement released on July 24, 2026, Ama Parone said she had remained silent for several days to process the situation, pray, and find the right words. She explained that the widespread speculation, accusations and online mockery had taken a heavy emotional toll, adding that her silence should not be mistaken for guilt.

Addressing the general public, the broadcaster apologised to her family, colleagues, fans, mentors and everyone she believes she has disappointed.

She admitted that the video currently circulating and featuring her is from her past, describing it as a period in her life she is not proud of.

According to her, she was young, naïve and made poor decisions that she deeply regrets. She stressed that the incident happened long ago and does not reflect the person she has become today.

Ama Parone said she has since matured and worked hard to become “a woman of substance” whose family can be proud of and whose work inspires others. She appealed to the public for grace and understanding as she continues to move forward.

Denies Involvement in Second Leaked Video

The presenter also addressed claims linking her to another viral video.

She categorically denied being the woman captured in the second footage, stating that the video does not feature her.

Ama Parone urged the public to stop associating her with the clip, warning against creating false narratives. She insisted she had no involvement in that video and would not accept responsibility for something she did not do.

Ama Parone also dedicated part of her statement to her godfather, Rexford Kwaku Ntim, popularly known as DJ KA.

She described him as someone who played a crucial role in her media career by opening doors for her when no one else believed in her.

She expressed sadness that both of them are facing public scrutiny at the same time and prayed for God to grant him strength, peace, resilience and the grace to overcome the current challenges.

She encouraged him to remain strong, saying he should not be defined by his mistakes and expressing confidence that he would emerge stronger from the ordeal.

Concluding her statement, Ama Parone thanked everyone who had supported her with prayers and encouraging messages, saying their kindness had helped her through difficult days.

She also addressed those who had spread false information and mocked her, saying she chooses healing instead of retaliation.

“I am not perfect. But I am growing, I am learning, and I am determined to become better every single day,” she stated, ending her message with the words, “May God bless us all.”
