Ghana Premier League: Bechem United holds Hearts of Oak to goalless draw

Bechem United has secured a point against Hearts of Oak after goalless draw week 21 of the Ghana Premier League.

The Phobians were determined to secure a victory but unfortunately for them the Hunters were ready for the battle at the University of Ghana Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

In the first department of the game, the host created decent chances to take the lead but Hamza Issah failed to find the back of the net.

The Visitors came back stronger in the first 20 minutes of the second half, dominating play with some chances.

Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Solomon Agbasi made some crucial saves, preventing the visitors from scoring.

Despite the draw, the Phobians are 4th, one step ahead of rivals Asante Kotoko on the league standings with 36 points.

The Hunters after the away draw are 11th with 26 points after 21 games in the ongoing campaign.

The Accra giants will travel to face rivals Asante Kotoko in the Super clash on Sunday at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi while the Hunters host Young Apostles in the Bono derby at the Nana Fosugyabour Park.
