Nations FC head coach Stephen Frimpong Manso has expressed his excitement after their 2-1 home victory over Medeama SC in the Ghana Premier League.

The visitors took early lead through Kingsley Braye header from a Fuzy Taylor corner in the 8th minute.

Nations FC refused to fold and responded through captain Razak Simpson header in the 20th minute.

The Black Stars defender then completed a remarkable first-half turnaround, calmly converting a 43rd-minute penalty to give Nations FC the lead at the break.

“You can see the atmosphere around the stadium,” Manso said,

“We needed this points and I think we worked very hard for it, we are very excited and we will continue to work hard for more,”

“It was a very nice win for us,” Manso concluded as the final whistle confirmed all three points.

The result ended Medeama’s 17-game unbeaten streak and marked only their second league defeat in the ongoing Ghana Premier League season.
