Tima Kumkum Confirms Marriage Has Ended After One Year, Nine Months
Renowned media personality Cynthia Tima Yeboah, popularly known as Tima Kumkum, has confirmed that her marriage has ended after one year and nine months.
Speaking in an interview on Joy Prime, Tima disclosed that she and her husband have been living separately since April 1, 2025, while their divorce case is currently before the court.
According to her, she intentionally kept the situation private because she did not want to publicly discuss the circumstances surrounding their separation. However, after facing persistent questions about her marital status, she decided to address the matter herself.
“We don’t live together. I’m unbothered by any criticism. We need to call a spade a spade. You can’t hide it forever. When I was getting married, everyone saw it, so if it has ended, they need to know,” she said.
Tima described herself as “partially single,” explaining that although she and her husband are no longer together, she remains legally married because the divorce process has not yet been completed.
The couple tied the knot on July 15, 2023, in a ceremony that attracted significant public attention, particularly on social media. Tima admitted that she never expected the marriage to come to an end.
Despite their separation, she spoke positively about her husband’s role as a father, describing him as a responsible parent who continues to support and care for their child.
On the issue of custody, Tima indicated that the matter was being handled through the appropriate process.
She also opened up about her personal journey since the separation, acknowledging that the experience has been difficult but saying she has gradually been healing and getting better.
