Ghanaian Striker Ernest Boateng has returned to his former club Rahmatganj MFS in the Bangladesh Football League.

He signed a contract that will see him with the club for the rest of the 2025/26 season.

Rahmatganj MFS are facing financial struggles but managed to bring back their former player.

Head Coach Kamal Babu believes Boateng could help them fight for the top two positions after the side played the first round without an out-and-out striker.

“We are excited Boateng is back, we played without a striker for sometime now which I think is affecting our scoring but with him things will change” he stated during the unveiling.

Rahmatganj MFS finished second on the league after the first round of the season.

The 24 year old striker is expected to keep his former to help the club remain in the Bangladesh topflight league.
