Veteran Ghanaian gospel group Daughters of Glorious Jesus have disclosed that they have never considered splitting up or pursuing solo careers throughout their 37-year journey in the music industry.

Speaking in an interview with Nii Noi on Hitz FM’s Hitz Praise Zone, the celebrated gospel group attributed their remarkable longevity to their strong sisterhood, mutual respect and unwavering commitment to the ministry God entrusted to them.

According to the group, their musical gift was given to all three members collectively, making the idea of pursuing individual careers something that has never crossed their minds.

“Not even once have we thought about going our separate ways or doing solo projects. The talent God gave us was meant for all of us, and we are grateful to share that gift together,” they said.

The group explained that appreciating each member’s unique contribution has been one of the key reasons for their lasting success.

“Each of us plays our role to the best of our ability, and we value what every member brings to the group. There has never been any competition among us. Instead, we celebrate each other’s strengths,” they added.

They noted that their unity, love and selflessness have remained the foundation of their ministry, helping them stay relevant and influential for nearly four decades.

Made up of Cynthia Appiadu, Edna Sarpong and Monica Owusu Ansah, Daughters of Glorious Jesus was formed in 1989 and has grown into one of Ghana’s most respected gospel groups.

Over the years, the trio has blessed audiences with timeless gospel hits such as Bebre, Nea Yɛhu, Wo Ntaban and Mebo Yesu Din Daa, earning widespread admiration for their powerful harmonies, inspiring lyrics and unwavering dedication to spreading the gospel through music.
