Krachi East MP Honours 22 Outstanding BECE Candidates in 2026 BECE

The Member of Parliament for the Krachi East Constituency has honoured 22 students, including 20 outstanding candidates, two brilliant but needy girls and persons with disabilities (PWDs), for their exceptional academic performance in the 2026 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).

The initiative was organised to recognise and reward students who distinguished themselves through hard work and excellent academic performance, while also encouraging other young people across the constituency to take their education seriously and strive for academic excellence.

The 20 outstanding beneficiaries were students who obtained aggregates ranging from six to nine in the 2026 BECE. Two other brilliant but needy girls were also included in the support initiative, bringing the total number of beneficiaries to 22.

As part of the awards, each beneficiary received a mattress, a trunk, full educational materials and cash support of GH¢2,000.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony, the Member of Parliament commended the students for their hard work, discipline and commitment to their studies.

He described their academic achievements as a source of pride not only to their families and schools but also to the entire Krachi East community.

The MP said the recognition was intended to celebrate the students’ success and serve as motivation for other students and future BECE candidates in the constituency to work hard and pursue excellence in their academic endeavours.

He reaffirmed his commitment to supporting education and investing in the development of young people in the constituency, stressing that quality education remains critical to the future growth and progress of Krachi East.

According to him, supporting brilliant students and providing opportunities for needy but deserving learners forms part of efforts to ensure that young people are encouraged to pursue their educational goals regardless of their circumstances.

One of the beneficiaries, Attah Zita Borngreat, a pupil of Dambai Girls’ Model School, expressed her gratitude to the Member of Parliament for fulfilling his promise to support outstanding students.

She thanked the MP for the gesture and encouraged her colleagues and other students to study harder so they could also excel academically and benefit from similar educational initiatives.

The awards are expected to further motivate students across the Krachi East Constituency to remain focused on their studies and work towards achieving excellent results in future examinations.
