England-born Ghanaian forward has sealed a full-time switch to Luton Town in the English League one.

The English club confirmed the deal at the end of the winter window on Friday.

The deal was made permanent, following his successful loan spell with the club as his performance catch the eyes of the club’s technical team.

“We are excited to confirm that Luton Town Football Club has triggered its option to transfer Gideon Kodua from West Ham on a permanent basis, subject to EFL approval.

“Everyone at the Club will be buoyed by this news ahead of Saturday’s home game with Bradford City, which kicks off at 12:31pm as part of the British Heart Foundation’s ‘Every Minute Matters’ campaign.”

Kodua had been on the club’s radar after showing promise during his time away from West Ham.

The 21-year-old agreement brings stability and a clearer route to consistent first-team opportunities.

Gideon made 24 appearances and scored nine goals, providing four assists during his loan spell at the English League One side.
