Thomas Partey has denied all sexual charges against him, according to his lawyer Jenny Wiltshire after his most recent appearance before court on Thursday, February 12.

“Thomas Partey continues to deny all charges against him. He has cooperated with the police throughout. Given there are ongoing legal proceedings, there will be no further comment,” he said.

The Ghanaian midfielder, has been charged with five counts of rape and one count of sexual assault, allegedly committed between 2021 and 2022.

Lawyer Wiltshire stated that Partey has cooperated with the police throughout the investigation and is prepared to prove his innocence in court.

Partey’s representatives had previously stated that he is innocent, and he reaffirmed this during his arraignment in August 2025.

The 32-year-old midfielder who left Arsenal last summer is currently playing for Villarreal in the Spanish Laliga.

The case is ongoing, with Partey expected to appear in court in March 13 in the United Kingdom (UK).
