NPP Diaspora Engagement has taken a new dimension as National Communication Director hopeful of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Joseph Osei Oppong-Brenya, prepares to connect with party members across the diaspora to share his vision ahead of the 2028 general elections,has announced plans to engage the party’s diaspora branches across the United States, Canada, Europe and other parts of the world as part of his campaign for the position.

In a statement ahead of his virtual engagement scheduled for Sunday, August 2, 2026, at 6:00 PM GMT, Mr Oppong-Brenya said his objective is to present his vision for building a stronger, more strategic and effective communication structure for the NPP ahead of the 2028 general elections.

According to him, communication will play a critical role in shaping the party’s future success, stressing the need for a system that connects better with voters, responds effectively to challenges and promotes the achievements and policies of the NPP.

“My mission is simple: To share my vision for a stronger, sharper, and more strategic NPP communication front that wins hearts, wins arguments, and wins power,” he stated.

The engagement, which will be held via Zoom, forms part of his broader outreach to NPP members and supporters globally as he seeks their support to become the party’s next National Communication Director.

Mr. Oppong-Brenya added that the journey towards the 2028 elections begins with effective communication and called on party members to join him in building a winning communication strategy.

“The battle for 2028 starts with communication. Let’s win it together,” he said.
