Okese 1 Names Brother Sammy as His Favourite Gospel Artiste
Ghanaian rapper and hip-hop artiste Frank Nana Afrane, popularly known as Okese 1, has revealed that gospel musician Brother Sammy is his favourite gospel artiste in Ghana.
Speaking in an interview on YFM, the “Na Today” hitmaker disclosed that he has a strong admiration for Brother Sammy and particularly enjoys his song “Mebo Wodin.”
According to Okese 1, his admiration for the gospel musician goes beyond his music, as the two share a close friendship.
“I love Brother Sammy a lot. I like the song ‘Mebo Wodin’, and he is also a very good friend of mine,” Okese 1 said.
His comments highlight the bond between the two musicians, despite operating in different genres of Ghana’s music industry.
