‘Our game against Aduana FC is going to be a difficult task ahead – Medeama coach Ibrahim Tanko
Head coach of Medeama Sporting Club, Ibrahim Tanko, has admitted that his side faces a stern challenge in their upcoming Ghana Premier League clash against Aduana FC.
The Yellow and Mauves are set to welcome the Dormaa-based club on Friday in a Week 22 fixture of the ongoing 2025/26 league season at the TnA Stadium.
Coach Tanko expressed confidence in his team’s ability to secure all three points but cautioned that the contest will be far from straightforward due to the strength and technical depth of their opponents.
“We managed to go to the next round of the MTN FA Cup but the league game is always different. Aduana is coming with a very good team, very difficult to beat, a very good technical team behind them,” Tanko told Medi TV.
“We are playing at home, and so we are going to control the game, we are always going to create chances to score. It’s not going to be easy, but I’m sure the boys are ready to keep the points here,” he added.
Medeama will be aiming to maintain their momentum in the title race, while Aduana FC seek to strengthen their position on the league table in what promises to be a competitive showdown. Kick-off is scheduled for 4:30 pm.
