Tiwa Savage Reveals Why Cheating Has Never Been a Deal Breaker for Her

Nigerian music star Tiwa Savage has opened up about her views on infidelity, explaining why cheating has never been enough reason for her to end a relationship.

The award-winning singer made the revelation while speaking during a podcast discussion about relationships, love and the experiences that have shaped her approach to dating.

According to Tiwa Savage, she has never walked away from a relationship simply because her partner was unfaithful. She also stressed that she has never cheated on a partner herself.

The singer explained that, for her, relationships are influenced by a range of emotions and circumstances, and cheating alone has never reached the level of a deal breaker.

She disclosed that there have been instances where she chose to leave a relationship, but those decisions were based on other serious concerns rather than infidelity.

Among the issues she mentioned were stealing and drug use, which she considers more serious reasons for reconsidering a relationship.

Tiwa Savage further revealed that she has sometimes walked away from partners over such issues, only for them to return later to apologise. In some cases, she admitted, she accepted their apologies and allowed them back into her life.

The singer recalled that some men had indirectly caused problems in her relationships, leading her to leave temporarily before they later returned to apologise.

However, she maintained that cheating itself has never been sufficient reason for her to permanently end a relationship.

Tiwa Savage also shared that she had previously experienced a situation where a partner cheated on her. Although she forgave him, the relationship eventually ended for a different reason, reinforcing her position that infidelity is not, in her view, an automatic reason for a breakup.

She emphasised that she has never been unfaithful in her relationships and has also never ended a relationship simply because a man cheated on her.

Tiwa Savage’s remarks highlight her personal approach to relationships, particularly her view that infidelity is not necessarily enough to make her walk away from a partner.
