Joana Gyan Cudjoe calls for humility and mutual respect in politics

Amenfi Central MP Joana Gyan Cudjoe has urged political actors and their supporters to approach political contests with humility, maturity and mutual respect, warning that today’s political opponent could become tomorrow’s ally.

The lawmaker made the appeal in a reflective message to family, friends and political stakeholders, stressing that political power is temporary and that the fortunes of individuals can change at any time.

‘Today may be your turn; tomorrow may be someone else’s’

Joana Gyan Cudjoe reminded politicians that nobody can predict how political circumstances will unfold.

According to her, people who find themselves on opposite sides of the political divide today may eventually need one another in the future.

She therefore urged political actors to avoid allowing electoral competition and disagreements to destroy relationships that could prove valuable tomorrow.

The Amenfi Central MP called for restraint, particularly during heated election-related disputes and legal battles.
