Gideon Nii Aryeequaye, the newly appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Creative Arts Agency, has identified several unresolved issues left by the previous CEO that have prevented the agency from meeting its objectives.

In an interview with renowned broadcaster and host of KessBen Entertainment on Kessben 92.2 FM/TV Kojo Preko Dankwa, he emphasized the necessity for the agency to function with formal and legal frameworks to establish itself as a significant player in the industry.

One critical issue highlighted by Mr. Aryeequaye is the agency’s lack of a formal address, which hinders its ability to obtain an official letterhead essential for its operations. He stated that after his appointment, he discovered numerous matters requiring immediate attention.

“Can you believe that the agency doesn’t even have a formal address to acquire a letterhead?” he remarked.

Additionally, he raised concerns about a conflict of interest regarding the agency’s official logo, which was created during the tenure of his predecessor, Gyamkromah Akuffo Addo.

Mr. Aryeequaye believes the entire Creative Arts Agency needs a complete rebranding to better align with its intended purpose.

Gideon previously served as the CEO of the Ghana Tourism Development Company (GTDC) and is known for his work in the media, including hosting “Ghana Most Beautiful” and serving as Head of News at e-TV Ghana and a news anchor at TV3.
