Gospel Music Sensation Minister Yvonne Celebrates Birthday in Grand Style

Ghanaian Gospel artiste Yvonne Asamoah-Tawiah, popularly known as Minister Yvonne, marked her birthday today, August 9, 2025, in a grand celebration. The UK-based musician showcased her rich cultural heritage by donning beautiful, rich Kente regalia, known as adosoa.

With a career spanning four years, Minister Yvonne has established herself as one of Ghana’s most successful gospel artists in the diaspora. Her unique sound and string of hit songs have earned her numerous accolades, including the 2021 Ghana Music Awards-UK Gospel Artiste of the Year award. Notably, she became the first Ghanaian to be featured on the renowned BBC Music Introducing platform.

Minister Yvonne’s music ministry is characterized by her powerful vocals, world-class music videos, and captivating live performances, which have won souls for God and expanded her global fan base. Her 2022 album, “FAITH,” is a testament to her musical prowess, featuring eight inspiring tracks, including “Heal The Land,” “Hyebre Sesafo,” and “Abundance of Grace.”

 

Beyond her music, Minister Yvonne is dedicated to philanthropy through her YAT Ministries Foundation, which has supported orphanages in the UK and Ghana with cash donations and other essential items.
