Kasapreko Sets Sights on Ghana Stock Exchange Listing by End of 2025
Kasapreko PLC, Ghana’s leading homegrown beverage producer, has unveiled plans to list 25% of its equity on the main board of the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) by the close of 2025. The announcement was made during the GSE’s flagship “Facts Behind the Figures” investor engagement series.
The upcoming listing marks a major milestone for the company as it looks to broaden its investor base and accelerate expansion across the African continent.
Speaking at the event, Kasapreko CEO Richard Adjei confirmed that the company’s board has already greenlit the equity float. “Joining the bond market was a landmark achievement for us as a local brand, and we are grateful for the tremendous backing we’ve received so far,” Adjei said. “With board and investor support, we’re excited to take the next step by entering the equities market. This is an opportunity to welcome new shareholders and tap into broader opportunities on the continent.”
Kasapreko has seen impressive financial results since its entry into the GSE’s Fixed Income Market. In 2024, the company recorded a 45% year-on-year revenue increase, reaching GHS 2.7 billion, driven by a solid performance in both local and international markets.
That upward trend has continued into 2025. In the first quarter alone, the company posted a 52% revenue jump and a remarkable 184% rise in profit after tax—figures largely attributed to increased product demand and tighter cost management.
Abena Amoah, Managing Director of the Ghana Stock Exchange, praised Kasapreko’s performance and growth trajectory, highlighting the company as a model of indigenous enterprise contributing meaningfully to national development. She called on investors to rally behind the brand as it transitions to the equities platform.
By listing on the stock exchange, Kasapreko aims to raise additional capital, attract new partners, and deepen its operational footprint across Africa—solidifying its status as a homegrown powerhouse with global ambitions.
