Nollywood actress Bimbo Ademoye recently called out some Ghanaian television stations for broadcasting her movies without permission.

In a video shared on social media, Bimbo expressed her frustration over the unauthorized use of her intellectual property and urged the relevant authorities in Ghana to take action.

Her post sparked mixed reactions online, with Ghanaian media personality and plus-size advocate Miz Debbie responding critically. Miz Debbie argued that the Ghanaian stations were actually promoting Bimbo’s work by airing it, suggesting the actress should be grateful.

This response, however, didn’t sit well with Bimbo, who labeled such views as “defending theft”. She reshared the video with a strong caption, calling on the CEO of Ghana’s National Film Authority, Kafui Danku, and Communications Minister Sam George to intervene.
