Photos: Chief of Staff welcomes Czech President Petr Pavel for 3-day official visit
The Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah led a government delegation to the Kotoka International Airport on April 8 to welcome the Czech President Petr Pavel to Ghana.
H.E. Pavel is on a three-day visit with the aim to strengthen economic ties as Ghana has become the Czech Republic’s fourth-largest trade partner in Sub-Saharan Africa.
This marks the first time in over 60 years that a Czech head of state has visited Ghana. It will also be the first State Visit hosted by President Mahama since his return to the Presidency in January 2025.
While in Ghana, President Petr Pavel will address a business forum, inaugurate a Czech-funded health facility and visit the Osu Castle and Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park.
President Mahama will host a State Dinner in honour of the visiting Head of State.
