to extend its unbeaten run in the 2024-2025 Ghana Premier League to eight games ended in disappointment after suffering a shock loss to Dreams FC.

The Phobians lost 1-0 to Dreams FC at the University of Ghana Stadium with the only goal of the game coming in the third minute through Abdul Razak Salifu.

After getting pegged back early in the game, Hearts of Oak recovered to dominate Dreams FC as the Rainbow Club recorded 17 goal attempts with nine shots on target compared to Dreams FC’s five goal attempts with just two of those attempts on target.

Prior to the loss against Dreams, Hearts of Oak’s last defeat came via a 1-0 loss to arch rivals Kumasi Asante Kotoko in December 2024.

The Ghana League was suspended for multiple weeks after violent clashes at the Nsoatre league centre led to the death of Kotoko fan Francis Pooley Frimpong.
