Mark Okraku-Mantey must be Questioned on the AMPHITHEATER FUNDS

Published

on

In April 2023, Mark Okraku-Mantey told the Creative sector on Live Television that the monies for the Five(5) AMPHITHEATRES have been paid into our accounts by the World Bank and that by July 2023, the Kumasi one will be completed. According to his calculation, the amount for the 5 theatres should be around 3 million dollars. He stated emphatically that they’ll finish all five (5) amphitheatres by the end of 2023.

The fact is, he spoke in English, so most of our entertainment journalists understood him clearly.

Today in 2025, not even one(1) of the said amphitheatres has been completed, and so the question is, WHERE ARE THE WORLD BANK MONIES? Or did he just lie on TV?

This and many other questions are what we’re expecting our Journalists to ask him on behalf of the industry, yet some big platforms like Joy FM and Peace FM Entertainment Review seem to be rather doing Character Laundering in order to rebrand and sell him back to the industry.

Questions like how they got money for their Spanish Tours when indeed the Creative Arts Agency, Ghana, then had no Board to approve such huge funds?

The painting budget is yet to be accounted for, and once again, we expect our Journalists to ask him those important questions instead of allowing him to have the nerve to tell us who should or shouldn’t be on the radio because they are government appointees.

Who made him headmaster of the industry, or does he still think he is in Power? Such Arrogance.

While other sectors like the Energy Sector are busy chasing “flying containers” and the Education sector chasing “ghost names” out of their NSS, we are here asking irrelevant questions, so how will anyone take our industry seriously?

We must make sure ORAL, EOCO, NIB and the Office of the Attorney General and Ministry of Justice also help us clean our sector so that the next set of appointees don’t take this industry for granted.

[VIDEO] Qwame Stika Breaks Silence Over ‘Yahitti’ Dispute with King Paluta

Published

on

Fast-rising music act Qwame Stika has finally broken his silence over the controversy surrounding the hit song Yahitti, originally released by King Paluta. Speaking during a heated interview on Top 103.1 F.M Showbiz with host Londona Niee, Stika revealed that he gave King Paluta the green light to release the song purely out of loyalty and mutual respect.

“I allowed King Paluta to release Yahitti out of loyalty,” he said. “But he broke that bond when he featured Kuami Eugene on the remix without my consent.”

According to Stika, the original track was a collaborative effort, and any major decision regarding its direction or future versions should have involved him. He expressed disappointment that such a critical move featuring a high-profile artist like Kuami Eugene was done behind his back.

“This wasn’t just a song, it was a shared vision. For him to go ahead and make such a big change without even informing me, let alone asking for my input, feels like a betrayal,” he added.

The revelation has sparked debate among fans and industry players alike, with some calling for clearer agreements in collaborations, especially among emerging artists in Ghana’s music scene.

As tensions rise, it remains to be seen whether the two artists will reconcile or if this marks the end of their working relationship.
