Breaking: Coach Christopher Ennin set to part ways with FC Samartex
Christopher Ennin has reportedly informed FC Samartex of his decision to step down as head coach ahead of next season.
The young tactician has already submitted a formal letter of resignation to the club’s hierarchy, indicating his desire to end his tenure with the Samreboi-based side.
However, the management of the “Timber Giants” is yet to approve or finalize his departure, as they continue to review the terms of the termination.
Ennin was appointed midway through the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League campaign to turn around the fortunes of the reigning champions FC Samartex at the Nsenkyire Sports Complex following the sudden exit of their title-winning manager, Nurudeen Amadu.
The former Berekum Chelsea manager, who won the Ghana Premier League Coach of the Month accolade during his tenure, has decided not to lead the technical team into the upcoming football season.
While Ennin has made his intentions clear, the club’s administration is carefully studying the document before making a definitive resolution regarding contract termination or release terms.
This brewing technical vacancy leaves FC Samartex in a critical position as they prepare for the future.
The management will soon need to decide whether to look for a permanent replacement to restore stability to the team or hold further talks to find

Breaking: Aduana FC comfirms the departure of Head Coach Cioba Aristica
Aduana Stars have parted ways with coach Cioba Aristica after the end of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League campaign.
The two-time Premier League winners has struggled to find their rhythm under Aristica, losing Ten games, drawing eleven games and winning just thirteen games.
With 50 points, the fire boys currently find themselves in 6th position on the domestic top-flight standings after 34 matches into the campaign
It was reported earlier that Aristica informed the Club management that he might not continue with the club after their defeat to Berekum Chelsea in the Ghana Premier League week 28 at the Golden City Park.
KPDonline.com understands Aristica has been relieved off his duties following their disappointing performance in the just ended season and the FA Cup semi finals defeat to Nations FC.
The Ogya lads are in talks with several coach are are expected to announce a new tactician in the coming days as pee-season start soon.
The Romanian Tactician joined the fire lads last season and secured a 6th place finish in the Ghana Premier League last term.

2026 FIFA World Cup: Honduras pulls out of International Friendly against Ghana
Honduras have pulled out of the close door International friendly against Ghana ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup kick-off.
The Honduras Federation took the decision after their friendly game against Argentina.
The Ghana Football Association may seek a new opponent after Honduras pulled out of a scheduled international friendly.
The Central American side, coming off a 2-0 defeat to Argentina on Saturday in Texas, has withdrawn from the behind-closed-doors match set for Tuesday, June 9, in Washington, D.C.
The fixture was intended as Ghana’s final warm-up before the 2026 World Cup. The Black Stars open Group L against Panama on June 17 in Toronto.
With the squad training in the United States following a 1-1 draw with Wales, officials are now considering options that may include a club side. No opponent has been confirmed.
