Endurance Grand’s role in Children of Blood and Bone has sparked excitement among Ghanaians after the talented dancer and actress was featured in newly released footage from the upcoming Hollywood fantasy blockbuster, marking another major milestone in her rapidly growing international career.

Children of Blood and Bone, a Hollywood adaptation of Tomi Adeyemi’s bestselling fantasy novel, features a star-studded cast including Viola Davis, Idris Elba, Damson Idris, Regina King, Cynthia Erivo, Lashana Lynch, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Amandla Stenberg.

The film, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Gina Prince-Bythewood, is expected to premiere in cinemas on January 15, 2027.

Endurance Grand’s role marks another major achievement in her growing acting career. Although she is best known for her exceptional dancing skills, she has gradually established herself as a promising actress.

Daddy Lumba Mausoleum will soon be opened to the public, allowing fans, friends, and music lovers to visit the final resting place of the late Highlife icon and honour his remarkable legacy.

Former manager of the legendary musician, Roman Fada, has disclosed that the family is preparing to announce an official date for public access to the mausoleum.

Speaking in an interview with media personality Kofi Adoma, Roman Fada explained that the move is aimed at giving admirers of Daddy Lumba the chance to pay their respects and celebrate the musician’s contribution to Ghana’s music industry.

According to him, the mausoleum will serve as a place where visitors can learn more about Daddy Lumba’s life, career, achievements, and influence on Highlife music.

He added that plans are in place to make the facility a memorable experience for fans, with displays featuring the musician’s journey, major performances, awards, and important moments from his career.

Roman Fada revealed that giant screens will be installed at the mausoleum to showcase some of Daddy Lumba’s historic performances, while his music will also be played to create an atmosphere that keeps his legacy alive.

He further stated that visitors may be required to pay a small fee to access the facility, with funds expected to support the maintenance and upkeep of the mausoleum.

The announcement comes after the family marked the first anniversary of the passing of the Highlife legend by sharing details about his final resting place.

Daddy Lumba, born Charles Kwadwo Fosuh, passed away on July 26, 2025, and was laid to rest at his private residence in East Legon, Accra, ending months of speculation about where his final resting place was located.

The planned Daddy Lumba Mausoleum is expected to become a centre for preserving and celebrating the life, music, and legacy of one of Ghana’s most influential musicians.

Ghanaian dancehall artiste Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known as Shatta Wale, has opened up about the reason behind the breakdown of his once-close relationship with Nigerian Afrobeats star Burna Boy.

Speaking in an interview on the Brunch podcast, Shatta Wale claimed that some of his former associates allegedly spread false allegations about him, which affected his relationship with Burna Boy.

According to Shatta Wale, he stopped working with some members of his team after noticing that they were damaging his image and relationships with influential people.

“I had this team I was working with, and I eventually told them I didn’t want to work with them anymore. About five or seven of these guys started calling every rich man or every important person in my life, telling them I was sleeping with their wives,” he said.

He alleged that one of the claims was made to Burna Boy, with the people telling the Nigerian musician that Shatta Wale was involved with his girlfriend.

“One of them affected Burna Boy. They told Burna Boy that I was sleeping with his girl. They literally wanted to destroy my relationships with everyone,” Shatta Wale claimed.

The dancehall artiste said he was unaware of the allegations until Burna Boy distanced himself from him without allowing him to explain.

Shatta Wale also recalled the support he offered Burna Boy and his family during a difficult period, describing their former bond as a brotherly relationship.

He said Burna Boy’s mother once regarded him as family after he helped them during their stay in Ghana.

“His mum is like my mother because there was a time Burna had a problem in Ghana. They drove from Nigeria to Ghana, and I met them, took them somewhere safe, and looked after them,” he added.

Shatta Wale maintained that he built his success through personal effort and expressed disappointment that people he trusted allegedly contributed to the loss of his friendship with Burna Boy.

Former Member of Parliament for Dome-Kwabenya, Sarah Adwoa Safo, has confirmed that the burial arrangements for the late Apostle Dr Kwadwo Safo Kantanka have been finalised, dismissing reports suggesting that the funeral plans remain unresolved.

Sarah Adwoa Safo confirms Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka’s burial date, stating that the funeral activities will begin on Thursday, July 30, with the burial ceremony scheduled to take place at Gomoa Mpota.

Her comments follow a press conference by her brother, Nana Kwadwo Safo Akofena I, Head of the Safo Family and leader of the Kristo Asafo Mission of Ghana, where he indicated that disagreements surrounding the funeral arrangements had prevented the announcement of a confirmed burial date.

Speaking on Angel FM, Adwoa Safo rejected the claims, explaining that the funeral committee had completed preparations after consultations with key personalities, including the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, and former President John Agyekum Kufuor.

According to her, the funeral arrangements were delayed after an earlier date set for June 25 could not proceed.

She assured the public that the funeral would go ahead as planned, outlining the schedule for the final rites.

“On the 30th of July, we will go to Gomoa Mpota to bury my late father. On the 31st of July, we will be at Independence Square for the funeral service. Then, on August 8, we will travel to Asante Mampong in Kumasi for the thanksgiving service,” she stated.

Sarah Adwoa Safo urged the public to disregard rumours that the funeral had been cancelled, emphasising that preparations were complete.

Meanwhile, she disclosed that she has successfully undergone surgery after sustaining gunshot injuries during the coronation ceremony of Nana Kwadwo Safo Akofena.
