Influencer Kwatemaa Andoh Says She Won’t Marry a Poor Man
Ghanaian influencer and entrepreneur Kwatemaa Andoh has stated that she has no intention of marrying a man who is financially struggling. According to her, she prefers a partner whose financial status matches or exceeds her own.
Speaking in a video shared on social media on July 8, 2026, Kwatemaa responded to critics who labeled her a “gold digger.” She said she is comfortable with the criticism and believes her standards reflect the reality of the lifestyle she has built for herself.
She explained that she has worked tirelessly to achieve financial independence and does not believe she should lower her expectations when choosing a life partner. In her view, she would rather be called a gold digger than settle for someone who cannot match her ambitions or financial level.
Kwatemaa emphasized that she is only interested in a relationship with someone who is on the same financial level as she is or better. However, she clarified that if her husband were to face financial hardship after they were already married, she would stand by him and support him through the difficult period.
She noted that there is a difference between choosing to marry someone who is already financially unstable and supporting a spouse whose circumstances change after marriage. In the latter case, she believes it is a couple’s responsibility to work together and rebuild.
The entrepreneur added that she enjoys the comfortable lifestyle she has created, including traveling and funding her own experiences. As a result, she has no interest in entering a relationship where she would bear the financial responsibility for both partners.
According to Kwatemaa, she values financial stability and wants a partner who is equally hardworking so they can build a successful life together.

Watching KiDi on Hitmaker Inspired My Journey:Kuami Eugene
Award-winning Ghanaian musician Kuami Eugene has revealed that watching fellow artist KiDi compete on the reality music show Hitmaker inspired him to pursue a music career and eventually audition for the competition.
In an interview with Headless YouTuber, Kuami Eugene shared that his journey began after he met Richie Mensah, CEO of Lynx Entertainment, while assisting fellow Hitmaker contestant Gunshot with music recordings since Richie was Gunshot’s producer, the two crossed paths in the studio.
Kuami recalled that Richie noticed his musical talent after hearing him contribute ideas during recording sessions. When Richie asked why he had not entered Hitmaker, Kuami explained that he was still preparing and hoped to audition the following year.
During that period, Kuami closely followed KiDi’s performances on Hitmaker. He remembered seeing KiDi perform with confidence and believing he would eventually win the competition. Inspired by what he witnessed, Kuami promised himself that he would also perform on that same stage one day.
According to Kuami Eugene, KiDi stood out because of his strong support system and industry exposure through Lynx Entertainment. He believed those advantages gave KiDi an edge over the other contestants, who largely competed without similar backing.
When Kuami eventually auditioned for Hitmaker the following year, Richie Mensah recognised him from their earlier meeting and recommended him to renowned producer Kaywa. That opportunity became an important step in launching Kuami Eugene’s successful music career.
