Midfielder Richard Tetteh joins Davao Aguilas UMark FC in Philippines

Former Aduana FC Midfielder Richard Tetteh has completed his move to the Philippines PFL side Davao Aguila Umark FC.

The Midfielder inked a two year deal with an option to extend his contract after passing his medical exams on Sunday afternoon.

Richard, brings experience and determination to strengthen the midfield department of the club.

The 25-year-old midfielder has immediately joined his new teammates and is expected to make his first appearance in their upcoming clash against Stallion.

Davao Aguilas are 5th on the league standings with 17 points after 10 games in the ongoing 2025/26 campaign.

FC Barcelona, President Joan Laporta has resigned from his position to be able to run for the elections to the Board of Directors to be held on March 15.”

“This resignation has been formalised at the ordinary meeting of the Board of Directors held this Monday, in which the call for elections has been officially published.”

“Along with Joan Laporta, several members of the current board have also resigned from their positions to participate in the electoral process. Specifically, the vice president of the Institutional Area, Elena Fort; the vice president of the Social Area, Antonio Escudero; as well as the managers Ferran Olivé, Josep Maria Albert, Javier Barbany, Miquel Camps, Aureli Mas, Javier Puig and Joan Soler and Ferré have submitted their resignations.”

“Once these resignations have been formalised, the Board of Directors will continue to exercise its functions until the end of the mandate, scheduled for next June 30, with a new configuration.”

“Until then, the highest collegiate body of the Club will be made up of Rafael Yuste as president, Josep Cubells as vice president and secretary, Alfons Castro as treasurer, and the managers Josep Ignasi Macià, Àngel Riudalbas, Joan Solé i Sust and Sisco Pujol.”

“Subsequently, after being formalised, the new Board of Directors continued the meeting according to the established agenda.”

Midfielder Justice Blay Completes move to AI Kadhimiya in Iraq top-flight

Former Medeama SC Midfielder Justice Blay has secured a deal with Iraq top flight side AI Kadhimiya Sports after a successful negotiations.

The Ghanaian midfielder with determination earned a spot within the technical handlers of the Iraq Premier Division side having impressed them with capabilities.

Blay signed a year contract with an option to extend another one year but with determinant on performance.

The 33-year-old midfielder is expected to play a pivotal role for AI Kadhimiya FC in the ongoing campaign.

AI Kadhimiya FC currently is sitting 8th on the log with 21 points having played 16 matches.

With the experience of the defensive midfielder, having played top-tier football in Ghana close to seven seasons Justice Blay is expected to shine with his new club in the coming weeks.

He has joined his new teammates and is expected to make an appearance in their game against Al Amana.

“it’s painful but Grimsby Town eliminated Manchester United in FA Cup – Coach Zito

Asante Kotoko SC head coach Abdul Karim Zito has admitted that it is very painful to be eliminated from the FA Cup but motivated himself with Grimsby Town Eliminated Manchester United from the English FA Cup Competition.

Aduana FC eliminated defending champions Asante Kotoko from the FA Cup Competition after round 16 battle on Sunday afternoon at the Baba Yara Stadium.

The drama started in the first half, where Captain Samba O’Neil missed a penalty and failed to give the host the lead.

The entire 90 minutes ended with a goalless draw, during penalty kicks Kwame Poku and Saaka Dauda missed their kicks, leaving visitors goalkeeper Prince Osei as the hero of the day.

Coach Zito speaking to the media has encouraged his boys despite the defeat and elimination from the competition.

“It’s painful Kotoko have been eliminated from the FA Cup, but a fourth -tier club also eliminated Manchester United in England, so such things happen in football,” Coach Zito

“I know the supporters are agitated and angry but this is football so if they are patient, we will get there because we are still building,” Zito added.

Aduana FC after the victory on Sunday are through to the quarter finals of the MTN FA Cup Competition.

Asante Kotoko will be expected to re-organise as they host rivals Hearts of Oak at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday in the Ghana Premier League.
